An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a MOT centre located in Basingstoke.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits:
Competitive basic salary of £35,000 with an OTE of up to £45,000
Uncapped overtime, especially on busy Saturdays, offering additional earning potential
Consistent Monday to Friday schedule with shorter lunch breaks
28 days holiday including bank holidays
Opportunity for career growth in a busy workshop environmentDuties:
Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles
Carrying out diagnostics and fault finding efficiently
Completing all work to the highest standards
Assisting with MOT preparation and testing
Ensuring workshop safety and maintaining work area cleanlinessRequirements:
Previous experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician
Full UK driving Licence
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Reliable and flexible with a good work ethicThe salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic with an OTE of up to £45,000.
Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are consistent Monday to Friday schedule with shorter lunch breaks.
