Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a multi-franchise approved car dealership located in Cardiff.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits:

Up to £28-39,000 basic salary pending experience. 
Access to an hour sold, and quality-based customer-scored bonus schemes providing on-target earnings of £50,000; however, this is uncapped! 
22 days annual holiday allowance plus the 8 bank holidays, increasing over length of service up to 25 days leave.
Employment benefits include the following: workplace pension scheme, staff purchase discount scheme, discounts on parts, servicing and labour.
Manufacturer-accredited training providing a goal for all new starters to be Service Technician qualified with a franchise very the end of their first 12 months of their employment in the business. 
Other benefits are on offer, such as expenses paid for bi-annual staffing events (Summer and Christmas parties) and achievement events and meals.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8:30am to 1:00pm.Duties:

Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
MOT Testing
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standardsRequirements:

A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
A Current and Valid UK Driving License
Dedicated and committed approach.
Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
Ideally have at least 2/3 years practical experience post qualification as a Vehicle TechnicianThe salary of this role is up to £39,000 basic with OTE of £57,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8:30am to 1:00pm.
