Vehicle Technician – Wokingham

Our client, a reputable automotive employer based in Wokingham, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career within a well-established workshop environment, offering a mix of workshop and mobile service work. The Vehicle Technician role provides competitive earning potential, a Monday to Friday working pattern, and the chance to work with a trusted local business. 

Benefits: 

Salary up to £42,000 annually, depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm, with a one-hour lunch break
No weekend working
Hybrid opportunity, combining workshop-based and mobile servicing
Opportunities to work on a variety of vehicle repairs and services
Supportive team environment in a well-equipped workshop
Ongoing training and development possibilitiesDuties: 

Servicing and repairing vehicles, including clutch replacement, cambelt fitting, suspension work, and general maintenance
Performing wheel alignments and other related tasks at partner garages
Conducting mobile fleet servicing in a van at customer locations
Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation
Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Keeping accurate records of all work carried outRequirements: 

Fully competent Vehicle Technician with experience in clutch, cambelt, suspension, and general repairs.
Physically fit, tidy, and well-presented
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently
Reliable with excellent time management skills
Comfortable working both in the workshop environment and on the road
Located in or near Wokingham or willing to commute
No specific formal qualifications are required, but relevant experience is essential
