Job Description

Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle specialist, is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their team in Blaydon. 

The Vehicle Technician will play a key part in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services, supporting the company's commitment to excellent customer satisfaction. Working hours: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours) and 1 in 4 Saturday morningsDuties as a Vehicle Technician:

Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair work on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars
Diagnose vehicle issues using technical expertise
Adhere to manufacturer and health & safety guidelines
Ensure vehicles are returned to customers promptly and to standard
Maintain accurate work records
Deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction
Support team members with technical advice and assistanceRequirements:

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent
Full UK driving licence
Own set of tools
MOT licence desirable but not essential
Ability to work to high standards while following safety procedures
Strong team working skills with a positive attitude
Motivated to develop knowledge and technical skills
