Job Description

Our client, a reputable and well-established family-run automotive service centre operating in the East Bristol region for nearly 40 years, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual looking to develop their career within a respected independent garage.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  * Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to a high standard
  * Conduct MOT tests, subject to holding an active MOT licence
  * Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and advise on necessary repairs
  * Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and workshop procedures
  * Report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Company Owner
  * Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment, maintaining quality standards
  * Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational targets
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  * Experience within a similar role as a Vehicle Technician is essential; formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent are desirable but not mandatory
  * An active MOT licence is highly beneficial
  * A full UK driving licence with minimal points
  * A dedicated, motivated team player with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  * Strong work ethic and focus on safety and workmanship standards
