Job Description

We are recruiting a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s reputable family-run dealership in Brentwood, Essex. 

This Vehicle Technician position requires an individual with a broad skill set, capable of handling everything from routine servicing to complex diagnostics, working independently to ensure high-quality standards.

Benefits:

Competitive basic salary up to £42,000 per annum, with an achievable OTE of approximately £48,000
No weekend work, Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 6:00pm
Ongoing specialist training towards Master Technician status, including Bosch programmes

Full-time, permanent position with reliable hoursDuties:

Accurately perform repairs and routine servicing on a variety of motor vehicles
Diagnose faults effectively, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs delegated by the workshop
Maintain detailed records of materials used and time spent on each task
Road test vehicles as part of the Vehicle Technician position to verify repair quality
Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulationsRequirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent qualification
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, particularly as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, post-apprenticeship
Full UK driving licence and own set of tools
The Vehicle Technician should demonstrate expertise across all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including servicing, cambelts, timing chains, diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs
High skill level and attention to detail
