Job Description

We are currently representing a reputable automotive service centre in Yeovil, Somerset, seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their experienced team.

Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:

Competitive basic salary of up to £35,000 per annum
OTE circa £45,000 with commissions and productivity incentives
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm, with only one Saturday per month paid as overtime
Bonus and additional incentives linked to performance

Conduct vehicle diagnostics, inspections, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Perform routine maintenance and servicing procedures
Accurately diagnose faults and recommend appropriate repairs
Ensure all work is completed within designated timeframes
Maintain high standards of workmanship and deliver excellent customer service
Keep detailed records of work undertaken and parts used
Assist colleagues and contribute to team objectives
Comply with health and safety regulations at all timesRequirements:

Minimum of Level 3 qualification as a Vehicle Technician or equivalent
MOT licence would be advantageous
Proven experience in a fast-paced workshop environment
Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
Full UK driving licence is essential
Qualified technicians or senior-level Vehicle Technicians are encouraged to apply
