We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Derby. Supportive team environmentDuties of the Vehicle Technician:

Conduct servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults efficiently
Perform visual health checks on vehicles
Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations
Complete repairs and servicing within agreed timeframes
Maintain high standards of workmanship
Collaborate effectively within a busy workshop teamRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:

Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 3 years’ practical workshop experience
Previous main dealer experience advantageous
MOT licence preferred but not essential for the Vehicle Technician
Strong mechanical skills with basic diagnostic capability
Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
