Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client in Bodmin. This is a unique opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a stable, rewarding role within a reputable dealership. Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Vehicle Technician to join their team and provide exceptional service to customers.
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
Competitive basic salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, with potential for more depending on experience
Potential OTE of £40,000 plus performance-related bonuses
Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
One in four Saturday mornings, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
Staff development and ongoing training opportunities
Supportive team environment with clear career progression pathwaysDuties:
Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing efficiently and accurately
Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with manufacturer guidelines
Diagnose faults reliably and advise customers appropriately
Maintain comprehensive records of work carried out
Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with team members to meet workshop targets and enhance customer satisfactionRequirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop or dealership environment
Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
