Our client, a reputable franchised dealership in East Edinburgh, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for all levels of technicians, whether experienced or developing their skills, to secure a challenging role within a well-established dealership.  Benefits of a Vehicle Technician:

Basic salary up to £41,000 depending on experience
OTE up to £47,000 with bonus scheme
Monday to Friday working pattern – no weekend shifts
Overtime paid at 1.5 times
Ongoing dealership and manufacturer training opportunities
Potential to progress towards Master Tech status
Supportive team environment in a large, well-equipped dealershipDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Completing service and mechanical repairs to a high standard
Diagnosing faults using diagnostics and live data
Accurately completing job cards and relevant paperwork
Advising customers on additional repairs or faults identified
Ensuring work is completed efficiently and correctly the first time
Maintaining a professional and punctual attitude
Possessing a strong work ethic and pride in workmanshipRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Fully qualified Vehicle Technician or equivalent
Dealership experience preferred but all levels of technicians encouraged to apply
Electric/Hybrid vehicle qualification advantageous
Own tools necessary for the role
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
