Job Description

Our client, a reputable premium brand main car dealership in Newbury, Berkshire, is currently seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their well-established team. This position offers a clear path for career progression within a professional workshop environment.

Salary up to £38,153 plus bonus
Full-time hours Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.30pm (45 hours per week)
Rotating Saturday morning shifts
Modern, fully equipped workshop with dedicated technicians

Supportive team environment with ongoing training and developmentDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Perform routine vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
Maintain comprehensive service and repair documentation
Assist with MOT testing as required
Ensure work is completed within specified timeframes
Deliver excellent customer service and technical advice to clientsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a dealership setting
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Technology
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Full valid UK driving licence
