Job Description

Our client, a reputable car dealership located in Guildford, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified technicians aiming to advance their career within a well-established dealership. The role offers a competitive salary package, comprehensive training, and potential for career progression.
Benefits:
  * Competitive basic salary up to £37,000
  * Uncapped bonus potential with OTE approximately £44,500
  * Additional earnings through productivity and time-saving bonuses

  * Standard 40-hour week with Saturday rota worked at overtime rates (1 in 4)

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  * Conduct vehicle health checks and routine inspections following manufacturer guidelines
  * Perform vehicle servicing, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups
  * Carry out minor repairs, accessory fittings, and basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis
  * Complete accurate documentation, ensuring high standards of record-keeping
  * Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify fault resolution
  * Support warranty repairs and customer requests professionally and efficiently
  * Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and perform repairs accordingly
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  * NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  * Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  * Full UK driving licence is essential
  * Self-motivated with excellent team skills and a strong commitment to high-quality vehicle repairs
  * Enthusiastic about further training, including brand and electric vehicle accreditation
  * Experience with diagnostics, MOT testing, and EV systems is advantageous but not necessary
