We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable independent garage in Bedford. Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to deliver exceptional vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics within a busy workshop environment. This Vehicle Technician role presents a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established business known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Varied workload covering a broad range of vehicles, including cars and light commercial vehiclesDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults efficiently and accurately
Perform timing belt and clutch replacements with confidence as a Vehicle Technician
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and assist with general workshop repairs
Work on a diverse selection of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards
Maintain high levels of workmanship and customer service
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure workshop productivity and qualityRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Minimum Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
Previous workshop experience is essential
Confident in timing belt and clutch replacements
Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
