Job Description

We are representing a reputable premium automotive retailer in Solihull seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a modern, manufacturer-led workshop with opportunities for career development and industry-leading facilities.
 
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:

Basic salary up to £36,000 dependent on experience
Realistic OTE of £40,000 - £45,000+ with overtime paid at 1.5x rate
Ongoing manufacturer and technical training

Supportive and professional working environment
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, with a Saturday rota of 1 in 3/4, 8:30am - 12:30pm (additional Saturdays available if desired)Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include: 

Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose faults efficiently using advanced diagnostic equipment
Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work as required
Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer procedures and standards
Maintain accurate workshop records and documentation
Collaborate effectively with the wider workshop and aftersales team
Support a safe, clean, and organised working environmentRequirements:

Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Proven experience in a dealership or independent workshop environment
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence
MOT certification advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
