Job Description

Our client, a reputable and well-established main dealer group in Dudley, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious automotive Vehicle Technician to advance their career within a leading global brand. The successful Vehicle Technician will benefit from a competitive salary, ongoing training, and clear career progression.
 
Benefits:

Basic salary up to £32,000, with potential for higher pay for senior technicians with franchise-specific training
OTE earnings of £40,000+ including bonus
Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with a Saturday morning rota (1 in 4), paid as overtime
22 Days holiday plus bank holidays

Job security in a thriving, reputable dealership groupDuties as a Vehicle Technician will include:

Performing servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring high-quality standards
Conducting diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults accurately
Completing manufacturer and workshop paperwork to industry standards
Contributing to team efficiency and customer satisfaction
Participating in manufacturer training to advance skills and understand evolving vehicle technology
Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all timesRequirements:

Qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or NVQ Level 2 with relevant experience)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dealership or automotive workshop environment
Full valid UK driving licence
Authorisation to work in the UK
Confident in completing repairs and diagnostics to industry standards
Previous main dealer experience is advantageous but not essential; a strong workshop background is sufficient
