Job Description

Vehicle Technician, Hockmeyer Motors, (part of A.F Blakemore & Son Ltd)
Location: Holdingham
Hours: 39 Hours per week
Shifts: Mon – Thursday 8am – 5pm Friday 8am – 4pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Workshop Manager in creating a positive customer experience through providing efficient general maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles, including services and repairs.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
  * Vehicle fault finding
  * Services & repairs
  * Cambelt/cam changes
  * Clutch fitting
Key Skills/Knowledge:
  * Diagnostic experience
  * Driving licence required
  * MOT tester desired but not essential
  * Welding desired but not essential
  * Behave within the principles of the company’s values at all times
  * Maintain employee and organisational confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act
  * Demonstrate commitment to equality and diversity
  * Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is required
  * Reliably follows instructions and procedures with excellent attention to detail
