Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with strong workshop experience, for one of the UK’s leading automotive retail groups, working within a professional franchised dealership environment. Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repair work accurately to manufacturer, franchise and health and safety standards.
Use diagnostic equipment and technical processes to identify faults and complete effective repairs across routine and more complex work.
Carry out electronic vehicle health checks and report findings clearly to support customer decisions and workshop efficiency.
Complete service records, digital checklists and repair documentation in line with company and manufacturer procedures.
Handle, fit and store parts, components, lubricants and consumables correctly and safely.
Work professionally with Service Advisors, workshop control and colleagues to deliver high-quality workmanship, first-time fixes and a positive customer experience.Vehicle Technician Requirments:
Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, depending on experience level
Current practical experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership, franchise or independent workshop environment
MOT licence and manufacturer accreditation would be advantageous but are not essential
