Job Description

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification and proven workshop experience, working within a professional franchised dealership environment.  Pay / salary: Up to £40,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime DOE & Qualifications
 Job type: Permanent / full-time role
 Shift and schedule: 40-hour working week, with rota patterns, Saturdays or flexible arrangements depending on site requirements

Skills and experience

Level 3 IMI, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician in a dealership, franchise or busy workshop environmentJob Responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician role

Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs accurately in line with manufacturer, dealership and safety standards.
Use diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to identify faults and complete effective repair work.
Record inspection results, repair recommendations and completed work clearly on job cards and digital systems.
Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, workshop control and colleagues so customers receive clear updates.
Complete work within agreed timescales while maintaining quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
