Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected independent service centre in Andover for a Vehicle Technician. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to join a well-established local business with over 60 years of operation. The Vehicle Technician will be integral to delivering high-quality vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Opportunity to work with a friendly, long-standing team operating in AndoverDuties of the Vehicle Technician:

Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles
Accurately identify vehicle faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Workshop Manager
Adhere to all health and safety protocols and work quality procedures
Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within set deadlines
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all work carried out
Support team members as required to meet workshop targetsRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:

No formal qualifications are mandatory, but an IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is advantageous
Extensive practical, "time served" experience as a Vehicle Technician
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Strong team player with a commitment to quality workmanship
High standard of work and attention to detail
Motivated to work towards team targets
