VEHICLE TECHNICIAN 
Location: Northampton 
Basic Salary: £33,600 Depending on Experience 
OTE: £42,500 
Hours: Monday to Friday & Saturday on Rota (Paid as OT) 
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Looking for a Vehicle Technician role where your earnings are guaranteed from day one? 
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join a busy, established dealership workshop in Northampton. 
The role offers great earning potential with no cap on earning through the bonus structure. If you have a background in Fast-fit, Main dealership or Independent garage we want to hear from you!!

THE ROLE 
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics while maintaining excellent productivity and customer satisfaction. 
Your responsibilities will include: 
·Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work 
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults 
·Using technical knowledge to resolve faults efficiently 
·Completing work in line with manufacturer and company standards 
·Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge and manufacturer training 
·Completing Vehicle Health Checks in line with required processes 
·Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently 
·Supporting workshop productivity and customer satisfaction targets 
  
ABOUT YOU 
We're looking for someone with: 
·NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair 
·Previous experience inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicles 
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability 
·Full UK Driving Licence 
·Good communication skills 
·A professional and quality-focused approach 
·Previous franchised dealership experience is desirable but not essential 
·MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous
