We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a well-established and reputable automotive service centre in Grays, Essex. This vehicle technician role presents an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking career development within a busy, professional environment. The position offers a competitive basic salary, high earning potential through uncapped bonuses, and a supportive team setting.

 Benefits of a Vehicle Technician:

Salary between £35,000 – £40,000, depending on experience
Uncapped bonus structure with a realistic OTE of £50,000+
Monday to Friday working hours, 45 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times
Alternating Saturday shifts, typically one in three, from 8am to 2pm

Work-life balance within a well-organised workshop environmentDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Diagnose faults efficiently to reduce vehicle downtime
Provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating vehicle issues
Follow all health and safety guidelines and workshop procedures
Maintain accurate service records and complete job sheets promptly
Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to industry standardsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry
Full and valid motor vehicle technician qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Customer-focused attitude and professional approach
