Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a busy dealership workshop in Finchley Road. Applicants should ideally hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, although experienced Level 2 dealership Technicians may also be considered. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required. An MOT Tester Licence is advantageous but not essential.

 Salary: £30,000–£35,000 basic + bonus, OTE: £60,000+, uncapped earning potential
 Hours: Monday - Friday, Saturdays on a rota

Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs accurately
Inspect components for wear, damage and replacement requirements
Work to workshop efficiency targets without compromising quality
Liaise with Service Advisors and Workshop Control to maintain an efficient work flow
Provide technical advice where required
Support fellow Technicians and contribute to workshop knowledge sharingVehicle Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent is preferred
Experienced Level 2 dealership Technicians may also be considered
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
Strong mechanical repair, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to achieve efficiency targets while maintaining high standards
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
