Watford
£35,000 - £40,000 DOE £45,000
Working Monday to Friday 08:00 -17:30 with a 16:30 finish on Friday
Are you looking for a new and rewarding technical challenge? If you are a level 3 qualified Vehicle Mechanic and have experience of the maintenance and repair of vehicles and live close to Watford, you are the expert we are looking for!
Due to continual growth, our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician Level 3 Qualified with Main Dealership experience to join a growing team, working for our client’s state of the art car dealership workshop. They are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician with a passion for diagnosing and repairing complex faults, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, ensuring compliance with legislation and safety regulations.
Vehicle Technician Main Duties
Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards
Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment
Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts
Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised)
Road testing vehicles to check repairs
Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition.
Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed
Completing all documentation to the required standard
Vehicle Technician Experience and Qualifications
A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
Current experience as a Vehicle Technician with Main Dealer experience
Experience in using diagnostic tools
MOT license preferred but not essential
Your own set of tools
A full UK driving licence
