Vehicle Technician
My client, who is based near Codicote, is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and experienced individual who takes pride in their work and has a passion for all things automotive.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with no weekend work required. Overtime is available for those who want to earn more.
So, if you have a strong background in vehicle repair, excellent diagnostic skills, and a valid MOT tester license, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.
* Carry out mechanical repairs, from routine maintenance to complex engine work, including timing chain replacements.
* Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet the required safety and environmental standards.
* Carry out final checks on all work to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are met.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are kept in good working order.
The successful candidate will have:
* A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and diagnostics.
* Keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
* The ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
* A Full Clean UK Driving Licence
* MOT tester license is highly preferred.
