Job Description
Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for a new role with a fantastic growing company?
You will be joining a very friendly team at one of the UK’s leading vehicle hire companies who are always wanting to help and work together to achieve the best results possible!
Main:
* 40 – 42.5 hours a week
* Monday - Friday
* 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break
* 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-12pm rota paid at OT rate 1 ½
* Salary between £35,000 - £42,000 OTE
* Highly achievable bonus scheme
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles
* Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
* Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
* General maintenance and repairs
* Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
* Suspension work
* Repairs on lights
* Repairing and replacing exhausts
* Repairing and replacing clutches
* Dealing with gearboxes
* Repairing and replacing steering racks
* Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
* Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
* NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 3 years services
* Hold a full valid driver license.
* Previous garage experience required, any commercial vehicle experience is beneficial but not essentialBefore You Apply
