Vehicle Technician - Maidstone Area
Basic Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 DOE
OTE: £40,000 - £45,000 (with bonus)
Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime available
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to join a supportive, family-run garage with a strong reputation for quality and customer service?
We are working with one of Maidstone's leading independent garages, well-established in the local community and equipped with the latest workshop technology. Combining main-dealer standards with the personal touch of a family business, they offer a wide range of repairs, servicing, and maintenance for most makes and models, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will:
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles
Undertake diagnostic and fault-finding work where required
Work confidently with modern workshop and diagnostic equipment
Ensure all work is completed to high standards of safety and quality
Support workshop efficiency and work well within a close-knit team
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Vehicle Technician (IMI or equivalent)
Strong background in vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair
Diagnostic experience would be beneficial but not essential
Confident working on a range of makes and models (experience with hybrid and electric vehicles advantageous)
Reliable, hard-working, and team-oriented
What's on Offer
Basic salary from £33,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
Bonus scheme with an OTE of £40,000 - £45,000
Monday to Friday working week, with overtime available
