Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client's experienced team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various technical tasks, including equipment repair and assembly. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
* Assemble components according to schematics and technical drawings.
* Diagnose and fault find.
* Perform repairs on vehicles using hand tools and power tools
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
* Assist in training junior technicians and sharing knowledge of best practices
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
Experience
* Proven experience in a similar Vehicle Technician role with a strong emphasis on mechanical knowledge.
* NVQ Level 3 qualified.
* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret diagnostics for assembly and repair tasks.
* Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostics and other relevant equipment safely and effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers alike.
