About the Role
We’re looking for two Vehicle Technicians to join a well-established independent garage in Swinton. This is a rare chance to enjoy dealership-level pay and benefits without the pressure of sales targets or bonus schemes – just a solid, fixed salary for quality work.
What You’ll Do
*
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
*
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic equipment
*
Perform MOT tests (if qualified) or support MOT prep work
*
Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
*
Work as part of a close-knit, supportive workshop team
What We’re Looking For
*
NVQ / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
*
Strong servicing and repair background across multiple makes and models
*
MOT licence is desirable but not essential
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Team player with good communication and a reliable, quality-focused approach
Salary & Hours
*
£36,000 – £50,000 per year (fixed salary, no bonus schemes)
*
Overtime available at 1.5x hourly rate
*
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (flexible start between 7:30am–9am)
*
1 in 3 Saturdays, 8am–12pm, paid at time and a half
