Job Description
IMH Recruitment are currently looking for a reliable Vehicle Technician to work on behalf of Barnsley Council.
Purpose of role:
To deliver the planned schedule of maintenance and repairs to the Councils municipal fleet assets to the standard required by the relevant legislation.
Responsibilities of role:
* To inspect, repair and maintain the municipal fleet assets operated by the Council to the standard required by the relevant statutory and regulatory bodies
* To provide professional advice and guidance to the service users on municipal vehicle maintenance and repair.
* To carry out manual and physically demanding work associated with the repair and maintenance of a municipal fleet
Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday
* 9-5
* £34,000 Annually
* Weekly pay
Job Type: Full-time
Licence/Certification:
* Level 3 Motor Vehicle Qualification (preferred)
* Category C Licence or Willingness to undertake (preferred)
* Driving Licence (preferred)Before You Apply
