Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an Independent Used Car Dealership, located in Avonmouth.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits:
Starting salary between £28-40,000 per annum, pending experience.
Performance-related bonus scheme of up to £2,700 per annum.
Personal electric car benefit available (T&C's apply and can be discussed further upon application).
Overtime, subject to availability, paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half.
25 days annual leave rising to 27 over 5 years (including bank holidays).

Option of a 5-day working week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am-5:30pm, or a 4-day working week with the option of either 6:00am-6:00pm Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. Duties include but are not limited to:
Conducting Servicing/Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
Rebuilding engines, and refurbishing parts.
Adhering to both Manufacturer & Health & Safety Guidelines
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
MOT Testing
Documenting information about Servicing & Repairing – ensuring it meets company policies.Requirements:
At least an IMI/NVQ Level 2 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician
Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
You should have your own tools.
Full UK Driving LicenceThe salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic with OTE of £42,700.
Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are flexible as, there’s an option of a 5-day working week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am-5:30pm, or a 4-day working week with the option of either 6:00am-6:00pm Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
