Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle repair and maintenance.
Duties include:
* Carrying out thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults and ensure compliance with safety standards
* Performing routine maintenance (oil changes, tyre rotations, brake inspections, etc.)
* Using diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately
* Repairing or replacing faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
* Maintaining accurate service records and logging parts used
* Working with colleagues to improve workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction
* Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and organised
Requirements:
* Proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
* Confident in the use of power and hand tools
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Able to work independently as well as within a team
* Good communication skills for colleagues and customers
