Our client, a reputable and franchise-approved dealership in the Cirencester area, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. Working hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturdays mornings paid as overtimeDuties:
Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work on vehicles following manufacturer standards
Accurately diagnose faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, and reliability
Ensure all work complies with quality standards and Health & Safety procedures
Keep detailed reports and communicate findings to the Service Manager
Maintain high standards of workmanship in a fast-paced dealership environment
Support team efforts to meet and exceed targetsCandidate Specification:
Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
1-2 years of practical experience in a workshop environment preferred
Full UK driving licence with minimal points
Strong commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Previous MOT licence, hybrid technology experience, or PSA vehicle experience would be advantageous but are not essential
