Vehicle Technician – Day Shifts (Cannock)

Salary/OTE: £42,660 per annum (basic £36,720 + £2,400 bonus)
Overtime: Available at time-and-a-half
Hours: 42.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday day shifts plus one Saturday in five (08:00–12:00)The Opportunity Ready to work on a diverse fleet in a modern, well-equipped workshop? What You’ll Be Doing
Carrying out maintenance and repairs to ensure all vehicles meet legal and safety standards
Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT inspections
Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and executing permanent repairs
Completing warranty, contract and retail paperwork accurately and on time
Delivering preventative maintenance to minimise customer costs
Upholding high standards of workshop housekeeping and health & safetyWhat You’ll Need
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle Maintenance
Proven experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing commercial vehicles
Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical, detail-oriented approach
Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
Proactive, customer-focused attitude and ability to work under pressureWhat’s In It for You
