About us
We are an independent family run Mot testing and servicing centre based in Macclesfield and have a great loyal customer database who have been using us since the 1970’s with a customer focussed team which enables us to offer a first class service.
The team is made up of 6 including front of house vehicle techs, mot tester and assistant technician. In the workshop we have 4 lifts, all the diagnostic kit you will need. We operate a clean, tidy and safety workshop ethos
Requirement
Vehicle technician / Mot tester
Ideally you will level 3 imi light vehicle qualified or a time served equivalent mechanic / vehicle technician with a mot licence.
The job split will be 80% vehicle maintenance and repair work and 20% Mot testing but with flexibility to help the team when required
You must be able to do clutch replacements as well as all maintenance and diagnostic work, experience in electrical work and Tyre changing would be an advantage.
A full driving licence, own tools and a definite team player are all essentials for this role.

The salary for the right person with be between £35000 - £38000 plus a bonus at Christmas.
Working hours Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.30 ( we are usually done for the day by 5.15) We would also require one Saturday morning a month working 8.30 – 12.30 to join in with the team rota.
22 days holidays plus all bank holidays. We are closed for 3 or 4 days over Christmas so everyone can enjoy the festive period
Free tea and coffee and breakfast sandwiches you every Friday.
