We're Hiring: Victim Support/Engagement Officer (Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaker) 🌟
Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable women and tackling exploitation? 💛
We're looking for a Mandarin-speaking Engagement Officer (Cantonese skills a bonus!) to join our team working across the West Midlands.
💼 The Role
This is a part-time, temporary role (30 hours per week until March 2026) where you'll:
Visit sex work locations to engage and support women 🕵️♀️
Provide direct support for victims 🤝
Work closely with police and partner agencies 🚔
Contribute to international projects tackling human trafficking 🌍👀 What we're looking for:
Strong English & Mandarin language skills (Cantonese desirable) 🗣️
Empathy, resilience, and the ability to build trust 💬
Experience working with vulnerable people (an advantage) 🌟📌 The details:
Salary: £24,478.40 pro rata (£30,348 FTE)
Contract: Until March 2026
Hours: 30 per week
