About the Role:
This position offers a unique opportunity to work within an international diplomatic environment, supporting visa operations and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. The role is based in London and involves working closely with a small, dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
Processing Schengen visa applications, including printing and affixing visa stickers
Ensuring accuracy in document handling and data entry
Responding to visa-related enquiries
Communicating with relevant authorities and external service providers
Performing other administrative and ad-hoc tasks as requiredThe ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail. They should be able to follow procedures precisely and work efficiently with sensitive documents and data.
Applicant must hold citizenship of a Schengen member state or dual citizenship that includes Schengen nationality.
The role requires a fast and accurate work pace, particularly in manual tasks, along with excellent administrative and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work independently under pressure is essential. Previous experience in a similar administrative or visa-related role is preferred, and knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset, ideally Icelandic.
