Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to manage vacant property repairs and minor aids and adaptations within our housing stock. This role is key to ensuring homes are repaired, adapted, and relet efficiently, while maintaining a customer-focused and forward-thinking approach.
Job Title: Voids Repairs Manager
Location: Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, Swindon
Contract: 6-month fixed-term
Hours: 37 hours per week
Rate: £40.00 per hour (umbrella
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure empty homes are repaired and relet quickly in line with the Vacant Property Relet Standard.
* Deliver minor adaptations to make everyday living easier for tenants.
* Manage expenditure within allocated budgets.
* Ensure all building work complies with Health & Safety and Construction Design & Management (CDM) Regulations.
* Maintain high tenant satisfaction and minimize the impact of empty homes on communities.
* Conduct stock surveys, update records, and support business planning.
* Improve service efficiency and respond to tenants’ changing needs.
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience managing staff.
* Experience managing budgets and controlling expenditure.
Qualifications:
* HNC in Construction or equivalent, or time-served experience.
* Current full driving licenceBefore You Apply
