Job Description
A regional leader in the provision of property services and social housing maintenance is looking to add an experienced trade supervisor to their team. You will be working on a voids contract throughout South Wales, overseeing all trades on refurbishment projects on empty homes.
The successful candidate will have:
A strong background in social housing maintenance contracts, preferably within voids
Good experience overseeing a team of multi-disciplined tradespeople
In depth knowledge of site safety practices
Computer literacy with good skills with Microsoft Excel
SSSTS or SMSTS certification
Full UK driving license
Responsibilities of the role include:
Day-to-day supervision of the trades staff (both DLO and subcontractor) and residents of the contract
Ensuring the works are completed within the set timeframes and budget
Surveying the job - Inspections of work before and after
The handling of complaints via customers and your team
Keeping accurate reports of the work in progress and the completion targets
Completion of toolbox talks
Regular 1-2-1’s and team reviews
Health and safety inductions
