Waking Night Support Worker – Children’s Residential Home (NAT)
Location: Handsworth
Salary: £13.30 per hour | 35 hours per week | Waking Nights Only
We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing care provider who are opening a brand-new 6-bed children’s home in Handsworth. The service will support children and young people who have experienced Neglect, Abuse and Trauma (NAT), providing a safe, therapeutic and consistent environment to help them heal, grow and achieve positive futures.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children throughout the night. You will provide calm, consistent support, respond to any needs that arise, and contribute to creating a safe and secure environment for the young people in your care.

Requirements:

Experience of working with children or young people, ideally those who have experienced neglect, abuse or trauma
*
A calm, resilient and compassionate approach to care
*
Ability to remain alert and responsive throughout the night
*
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
