Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
Sensory processing needs
Communication and interaction difficultiesEvery child is unique, and the school is looking for staff who can take the time to understand individual needs and help pupils thrive.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Help children engage with learning activities
Encourage positive social interactions and friendships
Support behaviour regulation and emotional development
Adapt resources and activities to suit individual needs
Work closely with teachers, the SEND team and outside agencies
Promote independence and self-confidenceWe Would Love to Hear From You If You Have:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant
Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
A calm, compassionate and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
