Location: We have two open vacancies, one based at our Sighthill branch at Unit 7 Seven Hills Business Park, 49 Bankhead Cross Way South, Edinburg, EH11 4EP and another at our Leith branch at 41 St Clair Street Edinburgh EH6 8LB
Salary: £25,792 per annum
Contract & Hours: Full time, Permanent, Monday – Friday 08.30am – 17.00pm

Pentland Component Parts Ltd is a specialist in vehicle parts distribution and has a vacancy and career opportunity in the position of Warehouse Assistant.
We are recruiting for a friendly and outgoing individual, ideally with previous warehousing experience, to join our team.
As a Warehouse Assistant, your duties will include all aspects of stocking and maintaining our warehouse, along with associated tasks.
As our Warehouse Assistant your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Reporting to your Line Manager at the branch you are based, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assisting couriers to bring in parcels from their delivery vehicles.
* Signing for goods received.
* Checking off stock and putting it away neatly on shelves.
* Picking customer orders.
* Maintaining shop display.
* Facing up shelves and moving stock when necessary.
* Periodic stock checking.
* Providing any other assistance needed to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
Please note: Your main branch will be as listed above, but you will be required to fill in at other branches occasionally to cover holidays etc.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and will:
* Be a team player with the ability also to work independently.
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Be able to lift heavy items without frequent assistance.
* Be dynamic, outgoing and energetic.
* Be organised with great attention to detail.
* Be willing to learn and develop.
