Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £25,400 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hours/week)
Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays (20 days paid holiday)
Interaction Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of our client in Huntingdon to recruit a reliable and hard-working Warehouse / Delivery Driver for a permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, close-knit team in a varied role combining warehouse duties with local deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with unloading deliveries and checking for damages
· Handle heavy furniture and appliances - manual handling required
· Prepare furniture (e.g., drilling for hinges) - accuracy and attention to detail essential
· Book stock in and out using internal systems
· Deliver items to clients homes - must be comfortable with stairs where applicable
· Ensure professional, polite, and respectful conduct during all client visits
Requirements:
· Physically fit and able to handle heavy goods
· Over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes)
· Full UK driving licence with confidence driving a 3.5-tonne van
· Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing and assembling furniture
· Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
