Job Description
NAS Recruitment have current vacancies for Despatch Operatives in Broxburn, with immediate starts available.
The job is Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00. The role involves processing and packing meat products for a company supplying butchers across Scotland.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* To work as part of the Production or Packing team
* To carry out tasks as requested by the Team Leader and or Shift Manager according to all site requirements.
* To take responsibility for your area of the production process to ensure best practice & continuous improvement in terms of producing a quality product in a safe manner.
* To ensure customer satisfaction raising any issues to the line leader/production supervisor where necessary.
* Ensure self and work area conforms to health and safety legislation policies and standards, reporting issues so that the site is healthy, safe and free from accidents
* Ensure all procedures are adhered to, to ensure a high quality product at all times.
* Ensuring that production deadlines are met efficiently, safely and to appropriate production hygiene standards
* Maintain Company hygiene and statutory hygiene standards throughout designated areas, working within the principles of basic food hygiene and good housekeeping.
* Ensure usage of correct products and equipment at all times
* Ensure compliance with all site procedures & SOPs.
* Experience of working in an FMCG environment (Preferred).
* Ability to work in a safe manner and considers the safety of others.
* Ability to adhere to quality standards
Rate of pay is £12.21 per hour, rising to £18.31 for overtime after 37.5 hoursBefore You Apply
