Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a company based in the Earby area who are looking for a Warehouse Operative with a full FLT counterbalance licence. The ideal candidate must have previous warehouse experience and be IT literature due to the administration duties involved in this vacancy. The vacancy will initially be recruited on a temporary basis but for the right individual this role could become permanent.
Duties
· Goods In – Unloading deliveries
· Checking delivery notes against goods
· Checking/matching delivery notes against purchase orders
· Goods Out - Picking stock for manufacturing/installation/retail sales
· Packing materials ready for despatch
· Despatching - stock to production
· Loading shipments from single crates to full containers
· Returns - Booking stock returned from site back into stock
· Booking excess materials allocated to projects back into stock
· Stock Control - Stock rotation
· Organisation of warehouse
· Highlighting discrepancies / issues to the Purchasing manager
· Stock takes - Carrying out stock short fall reports
· Perpetual/ monthly stock checks
· Full stock takes (Bi-annually)
· Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. (Warehouse & Yard)
Requirements of candidate
· Full FLT counterbalance License
· Full UK driving licence (due to driving the FLT on the road occasionally)
· Must be IT literate with the ability to input and retrieve data
Hours of work & pay
· Rate of pay £12.75 - £13.00 per hour (weekly paid)
· Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4pm (41.5 hours)
