Job Description
CREM Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for our e-commerce client based just outside Saffron Walden (CB10).
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Warehouse, managing a small team ensuring picking and despatch of guaranteed next day delivery orders.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.
* Collaborate with third-party transport providers to streamline operations and improve service levels.
* Be prepared to operate as part of the warehouse operational team during busy periods to ensure that orders are picked and despatched on time.
* Manage workload across the team to ensure that Goods-In, Pick / Pack and Despatch are always fully manned, stepping in when required.
* Manage stock effectively making sure that inventory controls are kept up to date.
Skills
* Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision.
* Strong knowledge of barcode and scan picking and stock management.
* Significant experience in complex picking environments.
* Experience with oversized product picking
* Strong stock and inventory management experience (in excess of 20,000 SKU)
* You will, ideally, hold a current Counterbalance FLT Licence or have extensive experience and need a refresher course.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on operational warehouse professional, you will be leading the team from the front with very limited time spent outside of the operation.
