Location: Witham, Essex
 Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum
 Contract Type: Permanent
 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Prime Appointments are recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to join a busy and growing food manufacturing company based in Witham, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated warehouse professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams, and is passionate about driving operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, leading a team of warehouse operatives, and ensuring high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and safety are always maintained.

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:

Manage, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives to achieve operational targets.
Oversee all day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate operations.
Monitor and drive performance against key operational KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Plan and manage labour requirements, including the effective use of temporary staff during peak periods.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
Oversee stock movements, inventory accuracy, and the timely dispatch of goods.Requirements: 

Proven management experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing warehouse environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.
Strong people management, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience managing operational KPIs and implementing performance improvements.
A strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and inventory management.
A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities. Hours & Pay: 

Permanent, full-time position.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Salary between £36,000 and £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.Benefits:
