Warehouse Manager - Exciting Opportunity with a Growing Business
Russell Taylor Group are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a thriving company with ongoing investment in site improvements and operational upgrades. This is a great time to join a forward-thinking and ambitious team!
The Role:
Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient processes across all functions.
Delivering operational excellence and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Managing and developing the warehouse team.
Monitoring KPIs and identifying areas for process improvement and cost control.
Supporting the integration of new systems and technologies to future-proof operations.
Supervise daily warehouse functions, including inventory control, shipping/receiving, quality assurance, and logistics.
Manage staffing schedules and workload distribution to optimise productivity and reduce overtime.
Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of warehouse equipment and infrastructure.
Work collaboratively with the Transport Manager and other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Maintain and enforce all health, safety, and compliance standards.
Regularly review performance metrics and implement strategies to address inefficiencies and reduce loss.
The candidate:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior warehouse role.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience with the implementation and management of a Warehouse Management System
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
Proficient in IT systems and administrative processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and provide constructive feedback.
Hold an in-date Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence
