Job Description
We have vacancies for Warehouse Operatives/HGV Strappers at a distribution centre based in Ellesmere Port.
***The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role & also be physically fit as this is a very demanding role***
Duties to Include:
* Loading/unloading of cardboard and reels
* Cooperate with management and team to ensure the job is complete at the end of the day
* Work to the timescale and deadlines
* Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned.
* Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork.
* Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate.
* Maintain constant communication with the Traffic Office.
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and use all equipment safely, as specified in operating procedures.
* Operate the vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger the driver or other road users.
* Comply with safe working practices at all times.
You can either work odd shifts or they have availabe Temp to perm -Ongoing Role.
We have different shifts available. Monday to Friday
6am to 3.30pm £13.06 ph
3pm to 11pm £13.06ph
10.30pm to 6.30 am £14.00ph
Rate of Pay: Weekends
* £19.45 ph Day Shifts
* £21.00 - Night Shift.
