Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: Nights | 20:30 - 06:00am | Full-time
We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a busy warehouse team in Stoke-on-Trent running our Night shift from Monday to Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, process-driven leader who thrives on driving operational excellence in a dynamic environment.
Warehouse Operations Manager Role:
You will oversee a team of 8 warehouse staff, managing all aspects of warehouse operations including cross-docking, groupage, and pallet network operations. This role is roughly 70% shop floor and 30% desk-based, allowing you to stay close to the team while also managing reporting, processes, and administration.
You will be responsible for:
Leading, motivating, and developing the warehouse team to deliver high performance.
Implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and processes to ensure operational efficiency.
Overseeing daily warehouse operations, including cross-docking, groupage, and pallet network activities.
Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.What We're Looking For
Proven leadership experience within warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of cross-docking, groupage, and pallet network operations.
A process-driven approach with the ability to implement policies and procedures effectively.
Hands-on, approachable style with the ability to motivate and lead a small team.
