Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start Available

Interviews: Week Commencing 7th April

Location: Sheepbridge, Chesterfield Hours: Monday–Thursday 8.30am–4.30pm, Friday 8.30am–3.30pm (39 hours per week) Salary: £12.71 per hour

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive organisation where you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse operation.

This position is an urgent hire, and the successful candidate will benefit from joining a friendly team with strong values and a commitment to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

  * 

    Picking and packing customer orders accurately

  * 

    Identifying damaged or missing items and organising stock appropriately

  * 

    Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock

  * 

    Booking stock into the SAP system

  * 

    Preparing and loading goods for dispatch

  * 

    Conducting regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels

Key Requirements

  * 

    Valid forklift truck licence

  * 

    Own transport due to location

  * 

    Positive, proactive attitude

  * 

    Physically capable of handling heavy items

  * 

    Strong reliability and excellent timekeeping

  * 

    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
